About
MotoErrorCode explains motorcycle error codes in plain English. When a warning light comes on, you should be able to find out quickly what the code means, whether it is safe to keep riding and what to check first — without digging through long forum threads.
Who runs this site
MotoErrorCode is an independent site run by Story ai. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any motorcycle manufacturer or dealer.
How the code pages are written
- Every explanation is written from scratch for this site. Only the code numbers and their short official names are taken as facts from other sources.
- Each page lists the sources used, so you can check them yourself.
- Pages are reviewed before they are published. A code is only published when there is enough to say about it to be useful — at least two likely causes with ways to check them.
- The date each page was last updated is shown at the bottom of the page.
Even so, mistakes are possible and code meanings can differ by model and year. Please read thedisclaimer, and if you spot an error, let me know.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use. Some code pages link to parts and tools on Amazon. If you buy through those links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links never change what a page says about a code. Advertising may be added in the future.
